It’s surreal, isn’t it?  Just yesterday, it seems, we were wide-eyed freshmen, navigating the labyrinthine hallways, wondering where our next meal swipe would come from.  Now, we stand here, poised to embark on the next chapter of our lives, armed with the knowledge and skills we've honed during our time here.  

As double majors in engineering and law, we’ve chosen a path that isn’t for the faint of heart. We've embraced the challenge of mastering two demanding disciplines, learning to think both critically and creatively, to analyze both technical details and human behavior. We've learned to bridge the gap between the tangible and the abstract, the scientific and the social. This unique blend of perspectives equips us with a powerful toolkit to tackle the complex problems facing our world.

The world we’re stepping into is one of rapid change and unprecedented challenges.  From climate change to technological advancements that are reshaping our society at an alarming pace, the need for innovative solutions has never been greater.  And who better to address these challenges than us, the Class of [Year]?

We are the engineers who can design sustainable infrastructure, develop groundbreaking technologies, and build a better future for generations to come. We are the lawyers who can advocate for justice, protect the vulnerable, and ensure that progress is made ethically and responsibly.
